Making Just Right Strategy official

In June 2019, I decided to take the first step toward leading my own communications consultancy. I registered Just Right Strategy Inc. I launched this website. But I wasn’t ready to jump into it full time.

Maybe I needed the pandemic to hone my crisis management skills. Maybe I needed to find the right group of clients to prove I could move into this consultancy full-time. Maybe I just needed an extra year of life to make the jump.

Well. I’m ready.

After October 15th, I plan to focus on this consultancy full time. I am leaving my role as Mizzou’s director of digital communications to focus on client work. I’m using my years of experience to support all kinds of other organizations. I am so proud to work for my current clients and I cannot wait to see who I will add to the roster.

I want to thank my friends, co-workers (recent and past) and family for cheering me on as I make this big step. I have an unusual collection of communication skills. From my experience in multimedia, strategy, nonprofits, for-profits, influencer work and beyond, I’m kind of a unicorn. I have the ability to assess, strategize and execute outcomes in so many different ways - and there are so many outcomes we are working on in the world right now!
